After completing my Fine Arts degree in 2013, I began teaching weaving classes using the skills I had learnt while studying abroad in Australia. I had the opportunity to learn form a well-known textile artist Valerie Kirk at the School of Art in Canberra. When I returned home, I began teaching small classes in coffee shops and hosted weaving parties at people’s homes. I have also taught successful classes at local galleries including Penticton Art Gallery.
