The Okanagan Folk School (OKFS) is a BC Non-Profit Society, unique for its dedication to teaching the arts, crafts, and cultural heritage of the Okanagan region. Made up of local artisans, craftspeople, and volunteers, we offer non-competitive education focusing on the student. Located in Peachland, B.C., a lakefront community situated in the Central Okanagan.
We rely on donations for our day to day operations.
Our mission is to create a strong community in Peachland dedicated to the joy of teaching, learning, and enriching the lives of our local citizens as well as folks from around the world. This will have Peachland become a significant, year-round, centre of learning in Western Canada. This mission also includes holding community events and seasonal celebrations and activities for children and families.

Website Banner: Price quoted is on a monthly basis. All advertisements will be located on the
bottom banner and will display on a rotating basis with additional paid advertisers.
Internal Page: Price quoted is on a monthly basis. Your advertisement will be located on a
rotating banner on one of our internal pages throughout the website. Limited to 4 businesses
per page. First come first serve on available placement.
Newsletter Advert: Our newsletters are distributed to over 300 email addresses on a monthly
basis. The distribution includes various Okanagan Folk School members, plus other
community members who subscribe to our mailing list. Provide us with a picture and
description of up to 200 words to place in a premium location in our newsletter.
Social Media Post: Send us a picture and up to 200 words which we will place on our Facebook
and Instagram accounts.
Video: We will share your videos on our Social Media platforms to expand your reach. We will
keep the video on our website for 1 month.
E-Notices: Your advertisements/announcements will be distributed to our
membership and are an effective way to advertise or announce a special event in your business
or organization. E-notice can contain advertisement image and up to 1500 characters of
content. Only one paid e-notice will be sent out per week.
