Silvana studied jewelry making and silversmithing at Mohawk College, Sheridan College, The Burlington Art Centre and the Beadflow studio in Hamilton.

Her work has been published in Bead & Button Magazine, Beadwork and the Canadian Beading Magazine, and she has won awards for her designs.

She was a part of Art in Action in Burlington since 2009, The Dundas Studio Tour, The Mississauga Studio Tour, Art in the Park in Oakville and sold her work privately, at home shows and through local retailers before moving to West Kelowna where her jewelry was taught and sold at New Moon Gallery.

Silvana, a retired educator, takes pleasure in teaching and encouraging students to explore several mediums and patterns to discover their own creativity. She is inspired by the world around her, natural and man-made. She enjoys working and experimenting with many materials.
