About the event

Who wants to draw a bowl of fruit or a boring still life with images you have no connection to? I know I don’t. This 2.5 hour class will encourage students to bring 3 items from home that they WANT to draw. They will create a mini still life with them and learn how to use charcoal to explore the use of “negative space.”

Level of Proficiency:

Beginners, Ages 12 and up

Course Materials provided by instructor:

Charcoal

Smudgers

Charcoal Paper

Fixative

erasers

Course material provided by student/parent:

3 small(ish) items from home – these all have to fit on the table in front of you.

Number of Students:

Minimum 3; Maximum 8
