“Shards and Shine" - DROP-IN Mosaic Workshop
Drop-in. These hands-on classes are 2 hours long, cost just $5 per session, and all materials are provided. Saturdays, Sundays, or Mondays. Approximately 3-4 sessions per month. Morning sessions will run from 11:00-1:00, afternoon sessions will run from 1:30-3:30.

About the event
Come join Shauna McKenney and have fun, connect with new people, and try something new in a relaxed and welcoming space.
You’ll explore pattern selection and cutting and placing methods to design and create your very own beautiful one-of -a-kind piece of art. You will use recycled scraps of glass to sustainably create your very own unique piece of art.
This workshop is perfect for beginners, and as skills develop, participants can progress to larger and more detailed designs. Projects will be created on both wood and glass bases, giving students experience with different materials and techniques. Once participants are comfortable with the process, they can choose to collaborate on a larger group project that will be raffled off to help support Our SPACE and the Okanagan Folk School.
Classes will be held at Our SPACE (yellow schoolhouse) and will typically be held on Saturdays, Sundays, or Mondays. We plan to offer approximately 3-4 sessions per month.
Morning sessions will run from 11:00-1:00, afternoon sessions will run from 1:30-3:30. This flexible format allows students to attend when it fits their schedule.
Come transform “waste” into wonder and leave with your own unique stained glass creation. No pressure, no experience needed, just drop-in, get inspired, and enjoy the process. By participating, you’re also supporting our local community.
