About the event
As we are transition to lighter days but are still in the thick of winter how about signing up for a Weathergram class? Weathergrams are condensed poems of 10 words or less, they are written in calligraphy on strips of paper bags and are meant to be hung on a branch in your garden or along a trail.
They become weathered by the sun, wind, snow, and rain so nature adds her own touch to your art piece.
When you write your own just open up and let the image or feeling you have be transferred onto your Weathergram. They are fascinating to read if you happen to come across them.
Tegre will guide you in letter placement as well as a brief instruction on embellishing your current handwriting. We will add our best printing or cursive to the Weathergrams and we can add some color for extra flair or leave just simple, the choice is yours. Please keep in mind that these are meant to compost over time so we will not be using glitter.

Tegre will provide the twine, the paper, crayons, watercolor and waterproof ink. If you want to attach any dried leaves, flowers, or berries to your Weathergram, you may do that as an optional feature as the class will head outside to collect bits of nature.

In recognition of the time and energy instructors invest in preparing for courses, students who cancel their enrollment 6 days or less prior to the first day of the course are not eligible for a refund. Students who do not show up to a course and have not notified OKFS are not eligible for a refund.
Students who cancel their enrollment more than 7 days prior to the first day of the course and request a refund will receive a refund less a 4% cancellation fee to cover the credit card costs.
