Catch the Sun! - Mini Stained Glass Workshop

This mini workshop is a fun, hands-on introduction to Tiffany-style stained glass. Using beautiful glass scraps, you’ll create a small 3–4 piece

suncatcher while learning the essential techniques of the craft. Though shorter than our beginner course, this class still covers the basics. Participants

will choose from several simple patterns, select their glass, then trace, cut, and grind each piece. You’ll learn how to apply copper foil and solder the pieces together, finishing the class with a one-of-a-kind stained glass suncatcher to take home. Perfect for beginners, creatives short on time, or anyone looking to try stained glass in a relaxed and approachable setting. No prior experience required.

Level: Beginner

What to Bring: lunch or snack, closed-toe shoes, comfortable old clothes

Cancelation Policy: 

If OKFS must cancel a course, the student will receive a full refund or a credit towards a future course of their choosing. Students who wish a refund of any payments made for that course should contact the OKFS office at info@okfolkschool.ca. Students who cancel their enrollment more than 7 days prior to the first day of the course and request a refund will receive a refund less a 5% cancellation fee to cover the credit card costs. In recognition of the time and energy instructors invest in preparing for courses, students who cancel their enrollment 6 days or less prior to the first day of the course are not eligible for a refund. Students who do not show up to a course and have not notified OKFS are not eligible for refund.
