Elongated cursive style word play

Workshop Description:    Transform simple words into works of art by exploring the world of elongated lettering. Join Tegre in this monoline style of calligraphy. In this fun and inspiring class you will learn how to stretch letterforms into graceful compositions that are perfect for adding to your artwork, greeting cards, journals, bookmarks, and home décor. Come relax, experiment, and discover how a single word can become a beautiful piece of art.

Level:   No previous experience is necessary.

What to Bring:  Pencil, Ruler, fine tipped waterproof black liner like a Mars Staedtler Pigment Liner (or similar pen) size 03 or 05.  Watercolours, practise or layout pad, pieces of watercolour paper you have on hand either hot or cold press or another paper that will handle watercolour. 

Optional: coloured pencils eg: Prismacolour

Cancelation Policy: 

If OKFS must cancel a course, the student will receive a full refund or a credit towards a future course of their choosing. Students who wish a refund of any payments made for that course should contact the OKFS office at info@okfolkschool.ca. Students who cancel their enrollment more than 7 days prior to the first day of the course and request a refund will receive a refund less a 5% cancellation fee to cover the credit card costs. In recognition of the time and energy instructors invest in preparing for courses, students who cancel their enrollment 6 days or less prior to the first day of the course are not eligible for a refund.
