About the event


Come learn about foraging with local foraging guide Mikaela Cannon. Mikaela is the author of the BC bestselling book Foraging as a Way of Life and is currently working on a new book (Guided by Plants) on foraging and ecosystems that will be released in spring 2027. With a passion for sustainability, outdoor education and Truth and Reconciliation, Mikaela weaves her ethics and methods into hands-on workshops that will engage all your senses. Foraging as a Way of Life can be purchased at the Okanagan Folk School.
