Free Based Versals

Workshop Description:    

This class is a very free version of Versals and is an impressive companion alphabet for creating contrast of space and texture.  Your letters will dance across your paper; and with the addition of watercolours you will bring

another level of artistry to your calligraphic work. Tegre will lead us in this fun class expressing letters and flowers with free form.

Level:   Open to all skill levels.

Venue:  The Okanagan Folk School classroom

              5684 Beach Ave., Peachland, BC

What to Bring:  Pencil, Ruler, fine tipped waterproof black liner like a Mars Staedtler Pigment Liner (or similar pen) size 03 or 05. Must be waterproof  Watercolours, practise or layout pad, pieces of watercolour paper you have on hand either hot or cold press or another paper that will handle watercolour.  Small round brush for painting #4 and or small flat edged brush.

Optional: coloured pencils eg: Prismacolour

Cancelation Policy: 

If OKFS must cancel a course, the student will receive a full refund or a credit towards a future course of their choosing. Students who wish a refund of any payments made for that course should contact the OKFS office at info@okfolkschool.ca. Students who cancel their enrollment more than 7 days prior to the first day of the course and request a refund will receive a refund less a 5% cancellation fee to cover the credit card costs. In recognition of the time and energy instructors invest in preparing for courses, students who cancel their enrollment 6 days or less prior to the first day of the course are not eligible for a refund. Students who do not show up to a course and have not notified OKFS are not eligible for refund.
