Garden Supports and Spheres

Choose either garden supports or weaving a sphere in this mixed class.

The initial part of the sphere workshop teaches the art to making a wire armature, this is the frame that will give structure to the sphere that will be woven with Pinot Noir grape vines from Annabel’s 2-acre vineyard. OR Give the plants in your garden the support they need! From sweet peas to peonies , runner beans to Clematis. Perhaps a flat screen to create a natural message board or to separate for privacy. Naturally sourced Willow , Dogwood, Alder and other natural fibres woven into beautiful Garden structures.

The workshops are held in her studio in West Kelowna overlooking her vineyard, the Okanagan valley and towards the surrounding mountains including Big White Mountain.

What to Bring

Wear sunscreen, gardening gloves and a hat or warm clothing if the weather is changeable . 

Please bring a bag lunch and water.

Custom Courses

If you have a group of friends or family who would like to organize a personal course, please contact the Okanagan Folk School at info@okfolkschool.ca to set up a time and location.

Course Cancellations

If OKFS must cancel a course, the student will receive a full refund or a credit towards a future course of their choosing. Students who wish a refund of any payments made for that course should contact the OKFS office at info@okfolkschool.ca.

Students who cancel their enrollment more than 7 days prior to the first day of the course and request a refund will receive a refund less a 4% cancellation fee to cover the credit card costs. In recognition of the time and energy instructors invest in preparing for courses, students who cancel their enrollment 6 days or less prior to the first day of the course are not eligible for a refund. Students who do not show up to a course and have not notified OKFS are not eligible for a refund.
