adorable needle-felted owl, step by step, in a relaxed and friendly setting—no experience needed.

This is more than just a workshop—it’s an opportunity to try a unique hobby, meet fantastic people, and unleash your imagination. Whether

you’re a first-timer or a seasoned stabber (of fluff, of course!), you’ll leave with a delightful creation and lots of great memories.

Custom Courses

If you have a group of friends or family who would like to organize a personal course, please contact the Okanagan Folk School at

info@okfolkschool.ca to set up a time and location.

Proficiency Level:

Ages 9 to 90. No experience necessary.

Course Materials Fee:

Bring your own kit or you can purchase a tool kit for $30 (please email me if you would like to buy a kit as I will need to put this together). This will be

available at the beginning of the workshop. I will also have some tools to borrow if you just want to try this out.

Course Cancellations 

If OKFS must cancel a course, the student will receive a full refund or a credit towards a future course of their choosing. Students who wish a refund of any payments made for that course should contact the OKFS office at info@okfolkschool.ca. Students who cancel their enrollment more than 7 days prior to the first day of the course and request a refund will receive a refund less a 5% cancellation fee to cover the credit card costs. In recognition of the time and energy instructors invest in preparing for courses, students who cancel their enrollment 6 days or less prior to the first day of the course are not eligible for a refund. Students who do not show up to a course and have not notified OKFS are not eligible for a refund.
