About the event
Stained Glass-where the physics of light and refraction meet the magic of color and composition resulting in visually stunning artwork.
This fun and exciting one-day, 5 hr. course is designed to allow students to learn the basic skills and techniques of Tiffany style (copper foil method) stained glass. The class sizes are small to allow plenty of one-on-one time. Students will learn about safety, glass selection, pattern preparation, glass cutting and fitting, copper foiling, soldering, and finishing. There will be six main patterns to choose from as well as a large variety of different coloured and textured glass that will allow students to complete their own unique and beautiful sun catcher to take home. Students wanting to continue learning can follow up with an intermediate course with larger and more complex patterns.

Proficiency Level:
Beginner Course for people not familiar with stained glass crafting. The Intermediate Course will be for any students that take the beginner course and are interested in further learning.

Course Materials:
All use of tools, glass, and materials will be provided and are included in the course fees. Students will need to have closed toe shoes (no sandals or flip flops). Safety glasses are mandatory (students can bring their own or I can provide)
