Annabel Stanley is a Natural Fibre Artist, living and creating in the Okanagan Valley, BC. Annabel was born and brought up in England where she became a florist in London arranging flowers for high profile clients such as Estée Lauder, Harrods, Tiffany’s the Jeweller and the Duke and Duchess of Kent at Buckingham Palace. After moving to NZ in 1992 she entered into the world of wine and she worked for Cloudy Bay winery in Marlborough. Returning to floristry she began to explore weaving baskets, spheres and sculptures. She now has over 25 years of experience, sourcing different materials and experimenting with their flexibility, vibrant colours and texture for weaving her unique natural baskets.
